GlaxoSmithKline's RECORD study flawed, experts say.

A GlaxoSmithKline funded study called RECORD, which allegedly exculpated the pill from increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease, was labeled by some physicians as “flawed” and the study cannot lead to any “definitive conclusions” regarding Avandia’s effect on cardiac safety .
