Health Canada Allows Resumption of Trasylol Sales

Health Canada announced on September 21, 2011 that Bayer resume sales of Trasylol. The company had suspended sales of Trasylol after evidence of a higher rate of death among Trasylol patients in a clinical study.

Wednesday authorities announced, "[a]fter careful review, Health Canada has concluded that the benefits of Trasylol outweigh the risks when Trasylol is used as authorized by Health Canada,"
